After getting the awesome software plugin, Chipsounds by Plogue, I wrote some retro chip music to try it out! These tracks only use NES chip emulation and adhere to realistic hardware limitations. Can you guess what NES tracks inspired these? I hope you enjoy and alternatively, you can view it on YouTube here and here! Thanks!

I had a great time at PAX Dev 2014 this week! I got to hang out with notable game industry professionals including Lance Hayes, Jason Poss, Akash Thakkar, Matthew Steele, Richard Ludlow, Mark Shoemaker, Brad Meyer, Damian Kastbauer, and many others from game studios such as PopCap, Microsoft, Sony, ArenaNet, Sucker Punch Productions, and more. If you are interested in how the game industry works, not only just game audio, PAX Dev is an excellent annual event that I highly recommend. Hope to see you there next year!
There is still time to register for the fantastic Summer Intensive Program from Seattle's Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program, directed by two-time Emmy award-winning film composer Hummie Mann. The program is valuable to students, educators, and current music professionals in the film and TV, video game, or entertainment industries. This year it is being offered both in Seattle and in Nashville so don't miss out!
